Find out More! About Salmon Alley
Feminine, artistic, shabby chic, vintage and hip, Salmon Alley expresses a unique and fresh aesthetic. “I let the fabric speak for itself, “ Debbie says. “Sometimes, I see a fabric and it screams ‘Bag!’ or ‘Pillow!’ ”
Working without patterns, Debbie designs as she sews, creating items from pincushions to mobiles, stuffed animals to clothing. “I love creating something new that no one ever thought about before, “ she says.
Named for her children, Sam and Allie, Debbie’s Salmon Alley products make treasured gifts. “The zipper pouches are by far the most popular gift item, “ Debbie says. “Followed by the photo holders and the lampshades.”
For its creator, Salmon Alley is a natural extension of a life-long love of making. “As a child, my parents encouraged me to create with paper and crayons, scissors and glue. I remember my grandmother teaching me how to embroider.” Today, Debbie continues to be inspired, always learning and discovering new ideas to share with her cherished Salmon Alley customers.
